The MPC and IBC will be operational based on the timeline listed below*:
· 28 September from 07:00-24.00
· 29 September from 07:00-18:00 (due to a security sweep of the Bella Center, the MPC/IBC will be closed from 29 September at 18:30 to 30 September at 7:00)
· 30 September from 07:00 and open 24 hours per day until 3 October at 24:00
· 4 – 9 October, every day from 7:00 - 24:00
* A limited number of technical services & facilities will be available until 30 September due to the set-up of the IBC.
Main Press Centre (MPC) – Bella Center
The MPC will have workstations with power and WiFi internet access, which will be available in the MPC press workroom. Lockers will be available for rent. Dedicated services and higher capacity telecommunications can be ordered via the Press Rate Card.
Media will be able to follow the Session live by closed circuit TV. Broadband WiFi access will be offered free of charge to all accredited media.
International Broadcast Centre (IBC) – Bella Center
The IBC will be adjacent to the MPC and be made available to broadcasters who have booked facilities, such as modular or tailored space, furniture, TV monitors, communications facilities and technical equipment, etc. Dedicated facilities can be ordered
via the Broadcaster Rate Card.

Media Briefing Room (MBR) – Bella Centre, Auditorium 15
The Media Briefing Room will be the site of the various press conferences and media briefings during the 121st IOC Session. The MBR will be open to all media and will have a platform, with proper audio splits for ENG crews and press.
Media Service Desk
The Media Service Desk will be located in the MPC/IBC and will contain a variety of facilities and services. It will be open during the opening hours of the MPC/IBC.
The Media Service Desk will include the following:
General assistance and technical support for electricity, computers, Internet connections and telecommunications
· Cellular phone rental
· SIM cards provision
· Equipment adaptors
· Translation services
Mixed Zone – Bella Center, Hall A
Mixed-zone opportunities will be available during the 121st IOC Session for short interviews. Media are to be advised that space is limited and that access may be controlled by the use of a supplemental access devise.
Stand-up location
As part of the broadcast infrastructure, there will be stand-up locations in the Bella Center.
Commentary, ENG camera and photographer positions
For the announcement of the host city of the 2016 Games, there will be a limited number of commentary, ENG camera and photographer positions within the Bella Center Auditorium.
During the Candidate Cities’ presentations, ENG and photographer platforms will also be available within the Bella Center, Hall A. The IOC will strictly control this access.
A two-person ENG crew is also available to hire on a daily basis via the Broadcaster Rate
Card.
