Copenhagen 2009 School Games A miniature Olympic Games takes place at Østerbro Stadion. 8.000 schoolchildren will compete in different athletic isciplines. Read more at www.skoleol.dk (in Danish)	Østerbro Stadion	28-30 Sep:  8.30am-4pm
Copenhagen Bike Tour VIP-bicycle tour from Bella Center - where IOC’s session and congress will take place - to the City Hall Square. International and Danish VIP’s and sport stars will attend the tour.	From Bella Center to City Hall Square	1 Oct:  1pm-3pm
Copenhagen Countdown Huge Olympic party where City Hall Square will be full of spectacular sports, concerts and a big screen where the audience 2. October can follow the election to become host city for the 2016 Olympic Games. Experience street-soccer, bmx, volleyball, rowing, trampolining, gymnastics, street-basket, squash, softball, karate, weightlifting, taekwondo, judo, wheelchair-rugby, hockey, quianball, kayak, soapbox car race, dancing, fencing and many more. Programme Thursday 1 October  1:00pm - Lots of sports activities for you to join or see. Performances by professional athletes on stage. 7:00pm - Free concerts with Turboweekend, Faggot Fairys and and DJ Mike Sheridan. 9:30pm - Closes Friday 2 October 9:00am - Follow the four candidate cities' presentations live from Bella Center.  1:00pm - Lots of sports activities for you to join or see. Performances by professional athletes on stage. 5:30pm - Music with Danish artists: DJ Noize, Jooks, Rasmus Seebach og Laid Back 6:00pm - Free concert: Danish popband AQUA 6:30pm - IOC's announcement of the host city of the Olympic Games 2016 live from Bella Center. 7:00pm - Free concert: Danisg rockband D-A-D 7:30pm - Free concerts with Danish artists: Medina, Rune RK feat. Olympic Congress Run A run through the central Copenhagen for all ages. Choose between two distances at 5 or 10 km.	Starts from The Black Diamond (The Royal Library)	2 Oct: 6pm
Youth Games of Danish towns Danish towns - instead of countries – compete to be the best in a number of Olympic sports.	City Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen)	3 Oct: 11am-7pm

Danish School Run event At this annual event all Danish schoolchildren run away from school - in the name of exercise. This is a special event where schools in Copenhagen compete to run most kilometres.	Islands Brygge	9 Oct: 9am-12am
